Our Story

In the spring of 2008, a group of young professionals in southern New Hampster came to the realization that life would be a whole lot better if they had a bus to drive themselves around in. (It is not clear what took them so many years to come to this realization.)

Aided by blackberries and a college education they began a furious search of the inter-web using obvious search criteria including "bus", "cheap", "short", "used", "working", and "New England". Vehicles meeting all 6 criteria were found in ample supply. Many under $2000.

Emails began to fly and in an instant, like how a blackberry vibrates with the receipt of new mail, popular opinion made a sudden subconscious shift. This was a great idea, but procuring a bus that was practically sitting in their backyard (aka, in New England) just didn't make sense anymore. Buses need christening and people need adventure. Road trip! Obvi.

And so New England all but fell off the map -- replaced by exotic locations in Miami, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Nashville, and San Francisco -- but honestly it didn't matter which city, or which bus, or what the cost. This idea was real. The Great American Bus Tour was 100% legit and it was going to happen. No question about it.
